Please- version numbers

I go to download Acajoom, and I can't tell whether it's the same version I have already downloaded, so I downloaded it anyway, and named it AcajoomNews200901.zip, because I have nothing else to go on, which wastes your bandwidth, and my time, and my disk space.

Is it really difficult to put three digits on the back of the filename?  Please?
